ABOUT BREE & SANDYYYY:
Bree and I first crossed paths in August 2012, as we embarked on our Masters program in forensic psychology. Our initial encounter was marked by a twist of fate when Bree faced a medical emergency during the first week of classes. Being the caring person I am, I rushed to her side, insisting on visiting her at the hospital. Bree humorously recalls that I practically "forced" her into friendship after that incident.
Over the course of 12 years, our bond evolved from classmates to inseparable friends, and eventually blossomed into a sisterhood characterized by shared laughter and mutual accountability. Despite our contrasting life experiences, our connection remains steadfast as we navigate the various stages of womanhood together.
Bree and I are more than just friends; we are beacons of support for each other through life's darkest paths.

MEET BREE:
My name is Breanca Martin, but you can call me Bree. I am a 33-year-old woman, born and raised in Columbus Ga. I graduated from The Unsinkable Albany State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Then I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Graduate degree in Forensic Psychology. I worked at a psych nursing home and a mental health hospital. I made a decision to change careers and move back to Georgia and pursued my career in real estate. Since 2019, I am a licensed realtor in Georgia and Alabama. Although this was a change for me. I still use that expensive ass degree. Although the psychology field was draining, but yet rewarding the traditional ways of providing therapy wasn’t a good fit for me, but I still have the passion to help and heal people through my humor. So, what better way to express myself other than a podcast! I strive to help other women to navigate their 30s through humor, boldness, sarcasm, and compassion.

MEET SANDYYYY:
I'm affectionately known as Sandyyyy w/ the 4 Ys lol by Bree, but during the day, I'm Dr. Simmons Long (shout out to my beautiful husband for the short but sweet last name, Long). My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Georgetown College, where my passion for understanding human behavior took root. This led me to further my education, earning both my Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Currently, I am fully immersed in providing clinical services to incarcerated males within a dual-diagnosis substance program and serving as an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate psychology courses. My professional interests span a wide spectrum. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find solace in engaging in various forms of self-care and joy in my love for music, especially DJing, which is my favorite form of self-care. Music tells stories, and stories are what I love most about people, which is why I became a psychologist. Our lives are like playlists for others to learn and grow from.
I also create self-care journals, which are available for purchase—please go buy one, lol. I wanted to start a podcast with my sister, Bree, because she is hilarious (you'll soon find that out), and create a space for exploration and growth. My goal is to help people heal from past traumas and experiences.
